Energy-Efficiency Labels For UK Washing Machines
Every washing machine sold in the UK (and the EU) carries an energy efficiency label known as Label 2020. This labelling system standardised how energy efficiency measurements are recorded and presented to consumers.
The older system of washing machine energy efficiency labelling rated machines from D to A+++. The new Label 2020 system rates energy efficiency from G to A. For reference, an A+++ score on the old system scores a meagre E rating on the new system!
In this energy-efficiency showdown of 2023’s best washing machines, every product listed here scores an A. This means that they’re all very energy efficient washing machines, but that’s not good enough for us. We wanted to find the very best of the best.
To achieve this, we’ve compared 13 of the most popular A-rated washing machines for sale in the UK currently.

As well as covering each device’s key features, we’ve compared the energy consumption (in kWh per cycle), water consumption (in litres per cycle) and maximum wash duration (based on an Eco 40 – 60 Programme at maximum rated drum capacity).
How To Compare The Energy Efficiency Of Washing Machines
For every washing machine listed in this guide, we’ve included a link to the washing machine’s official energy specifications. These include niche details, such as whether the washing machine drum releases silver ions during washing, rinsing effectiveness and other sound efficiency measurements.
For brevity, we’ve chosen to focus on 7 energy-tracking metrics:
- Retail Price: compared across multiple UK sites, stated in British pounds.
- Energy Efficiency: measured on a scale from G to A (where A is the best possible rating).
- Energy Consumption: for one cycle, measured in kWh and averaged over 100 cycles.
- Water Consumption: measured in litres per cycle.
- Noise Emissions: measured while the drum is spinning, in decibels (dB).
- Eco Programme Duration: the total duration of a maximum capacity load (usually 8 kg to 12kg), on the washing machine’s Eco 40°C to 60°C Programme. Stated in hours and minutes.
What’s an Eco 40°C to 60°C Programme?
Rising energy costs and increasing clean water scarcity have pushed many countries to promote energy-efficient washing machines and methods. Eco programmes wash clothing at temperatures between 40°C (104°F) and 60°C (140°F).
Eco Wash Programmes have been rolled out on all UK and EU-bound washing machines. New laundry washing devices have to have an Eco 40 to 60 programme, by law.
Despite the cooler temperature, using eco or low-temperature programmes could save you up to 90% on your washing machine-related energy bills!
1. Hoover H-Wash 500 (HWB 69AMC/1-80) 9kg Freestanding Washing Machine
Retail Price: £399
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.490 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 49
Water Consumption: 46 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: 80 dB (A)
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 48 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Hoover HWB69AMC
Unlike many of the washing machines featured in this guide, the Hoover HWB69AMC can reach speeds of up to 1,600 rotations per minute. That’s the same rpm as an average UK car going 85.7 miles per hour!
An inbuilt Eco-Power Inverter Motor is responsible for rotating the laundry drum at high speeds. According to Hoover, this is their most energy efficient and long-lasting A-rated motor to date.
This smart washing machine can be paired with a smartphone or tablet via the hOn app (formerly the Hoover Wizard app), allowing you to download over 40 additional wash cycles and stop or start washes remotely.
The app can also scan washing labels and remotely monitor your washing machine’s energy usage in real time! Both Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity are supported.
The H-Wash 500 is rated to wash up to 9 kg of clothing at a time. A larger capacity variant, called the H-Wash 700, can wash up to 12 kg per load.
Unfortunately, the Hoover H-Wash 500 comes in just two colours (white and grey). While it is an excellent washing machine, some customers have found the app and additional wash cycles a bit pointless given the machine’s perfectly usable manual operations.
One major downside to this Hoover washing machine is the amount of noise it emits: 80 decibels while spinning. That’s roughly as loud as a hairdryer and around 10 dB louder than most other energy efficient washing machines!
2. Hotpoint ActiveCare NM 11946 BCAN 9kg Washing Machine with 1400 rpm
Retail Price: £399
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.493
Energy Efficiency Index: 51.8
Water Consumption: 50 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: 76 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 45 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Hotpoint NM11946BCAUKN
Hotpoint was once among Britain’s most recognisable brands. Since being sold to Indeset in 2014, Hotpoint has switched to manufacturing their washing machines in Italy and Poland.
White goods consumers will be familiar with Hotpoint’s ActiveCare range. Other brand’s washing machines add water and detergent to the drum at separate times. ActiveCare washing machines instead froth water and detergent before it’s added to the drum.
Apparently, this pre-drum lathering increases how deep detergent can penetrate into clothing, making clothes cleaner more efficiently. In recent years, the ActiveCare range has been expanded to include some newer Hotpoint tumble dryers.
The two-tone grey finish is the most popular colour choice, but a solid black-coloured variant is also available across the UK.
Hotpoint’s other ActiveCare washing machine is the Hotpoint NLLCD, coming in either dark grey or lotus white, these machines feature a bigger, 10kg capacity but retail for a higher price, approximately £450 to £500!
If you’re still on the fence about whether to invest your money on a Hotpoint ActiveCare NM11946BCAUKN, perhaps this will convince you. Every customer (aged 18+ and living in the UK) who purchases this item can grab themselves a year’s supply of Ariel washing powder, for free!
Hotpoint allows customers 28 days to return the item, free of charge, for a no-quibble refund. Compared to the least efficient washing machines on the market, the Hotpoint NM11946BCAUKN could save you up to £499 on energy bills over the device’s lifetime.
3. Siemens WM14NK08GB iQ300 1400rpm Washing Machine
Retail Price: £809
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.461 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 50.7
Water Consumption: 47 litres
Noise Emissions: 71 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 33 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Siemens WM14NK08GB
Compared to the least efficient washing machines available this year, the Siemens iQ300 could save you £670 in lifetime energy saving! It’s Siemen’s most energy-efficient washing machine for domestic uses, rated A for excellent fuel economy.
An LED touch display allows users to modify their wash with ease. The device also has intelligent washing capabilities; depending on the drum’s fullness and the types of materials you’re washing, the iQ300 will automatically adjust wash duration and water consumption.
To save electricity when not in use, the Siemens WM14NK08GB iQ300 switches itself into energy-saving mode.
If you enjoy the outdoors, the iQ300 could be for you. It has a gentle cleaning for outdoor clothing; the washing machine should remove dirt and soil without wrecking your clothing’s feel and appearance.
The Siemens iQ300 allows you to add textile waterproofing agents, increasing your outdoor clothes’ water resistance without wrecking your machine!
Siemens also produces the larger iQ500 series; these have a 9kg capacity and retail closer to £700.
4. Bosch Series 4 WAN28250GB 8kg 1400rpm Washing Machine
Retail Price: £579
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.461
Energy Efficiency Index: 50.7
Water Consumption: 47 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: A (71 dB)
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 33 minutes (for 8kg)
Product Efficiency Statistics: Bosch WAN28250GB
The Series 4 washing machine from Bosch has a spacious drum; up to 8 kg of clothing can be washed at a time.
While technically only rated for 8kg, the spaciousness of the drum is frequently mentioned in reviews. Like Dr. Who’s TARDIS, it really does feel bigger on the inside!
Despite its size, the 8kg WAN28250GB emits 71dB of acoustic noise on average; this makes it a moderately quiet washing machine.
According to Bosch, their EcoSilence Drive™ motor is responsible for the low-noise operation. An efficiency-boosting permanent magnet sits inside of the washing machine’s motor, reducing noise emissions on selected wash programmes.
In general, slower spinning speeds (e.g. 200 rpm) will emit less noise than higher speeds (e.g. 1400 rpm).
To help curb unnecessary water usage, the Series 4 uses so-called ActiveWater Plus technology. Like many washing machines, this means that it weighs the laundry to decide on an appropriate volume of water to use.
Online customer feedback for the Series 4 is overwhelmingly positive. On the official Bosch website, the average customer rating for the Bosch WGG04409GB is 5 out of 5. Less biased reviews, posted elsewhere, generally give this washing machine 4.9 out of 5.
The machine comes with a 5-year warranty as standard, as well as a very generous 10-year motor warranty!
5. Hisense WFQA1214EVJM 12kg 1400rpm Washing Machine
Retail Price: £420
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.541 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 51.7
Water Consumption: 55 litres
Noise Emissions: 72 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 57 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Hisense WFQA1214EVJM
The Hisense WFQA1214EVJM washing machine won a Good Housekeeping 2023 Award and it’s easy to understand why. Customers rate this machine 4.57 out of 5, according to the official Hisense UK site.
Hisense washing machines are instantly recognisable. They feature jet-black doors that hide the laundry inside from sight. This serves no functional purpose, but it’s certainly more eye-catching than most rival washing machines!
It comes with a 2-year warranty as standard and can be delivered to mainland UK addresses from many Hisense retailers. The largest online Hisense washing machine sites include Currys, AO, Argos and Homebase.
Have you ever forgotten to add an item of clothing to a wash? This Hisense model has a “Pause and Add” feature specifically designed to prevent this, simply click the button and once adequately safe, the door will unlock.
If you’re in a hurry, 1kg loads can be washed in as little as 15 minutes using the “15-Minute Programme”. The Hisense WFQA1214EVJM comes with 15 additional wash settings including Dark Wash, Cottons, Baby Steam Care and Allergy Steam.
The Hisense WFQA1214EVJM has a 12kg drum capacity – this puts it among the largest-capacity domestic washing machines available this year!
Unfortunately, it is somewhat loud, clocking in at 78dB while spinning. That’s slightly noisier than similar washing machines, but not enough to be a nuisance.
6. LG Direct Drive F2V308WSWH 8.5kg Washing Machine 1200rpm
Retail Price: £378
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.480 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 51.6
Water Consumption: 49 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: 71 dBEco Programme Duration: 3 hours 43 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: LG F2V308WSWH
If you want an energy-efficient, smart washing machine in 2023, take a look at the LG F2V308WSWH.
LG’s Direct Drive (F2V308WSWH) is one of the cheaper, A-rated energy-efficient washing machines on the market. It has an 8.5kg capacity drum and retails for around £378, dependant on individual LG supplier prices, sales and deal.
Built-in steamers reduce allergens by up to 99.9%; this washing machine is certified by the British Allergy Foundation. It features a metallic programme dial in the top-centre of the machine; this feels sturdier and more pleasant to use than traditional plastic dials.
The circular dial allows users to pick from 12 washing programmes. These include Eco 40 – 60, Cotton, Sportswear, Mixed Fabric and Baby Steam Care.
Users can then additionally select pre-washing and extra-intensive washing options, for greater control over the entire washing experience.
The LG Direct Drive boasts two unique features not found on rival brand’s machines: AI DD and ThinQ (Wi-Fi).
AI DD is LG’s intelligent fabric care technology. A sensor inside of the washing machine drum detects fabric softness while sensors attached to the outside of the drum measure the laundry’s weight.
AI DD software embedded in the washing machine uses these measurements to work out the ideal water and detergent dosing for every wash. Supposedly, LG’s AI DD has been trained to accurately identify all common fabrics using deep-learning algorithms.
ThinQ is LG’s smart connectivity app. It allows LG washing machine owners to control their devices remotely using an internet connection. ThinQ can also be paired with other smart devices, including Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
One major drawback is its relatively low rpm. The LG F2V308WSWH has a maximum speed of 1,200 rotations per minute. That’s low; most washing machines have a maximum rated rpm of 1,400 to 1,600!
7. LOGIK L914WM23 9 kg 1400 Spin Washing Machine
Retail Price: £269
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.494 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 49.5
Water Consumption: 50 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: 76 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 48 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Logik L914WM23
The LOGIK L914WM23 is by far the cheapest washing machine available for this year. This is because LOGIK is a British-run brand, owned by highstreet and online retailer Currys (formerly Currys PC World).
Currys has approximately 288 stores dotted around the UK; you’re probably never further than a few miles from a warehouse, meaning you’re eligible for exclusive customer service.
LOGIK washing machines purchased directly through Currys (either online or in-store) qualify for two paid-for services:
- For £30, Currys will install your washing machine after delivering it.
- And for an additional £50, they’ll remove and recycle your old washing machine for you!
With flexible payment options from Klarna, customers can pay for their washing machine in instalments. Pending approval, the LOGIK L914WM23 could cost you just £10.90 per month, paid over 36 months if purchased through the official UK Currys website.
Like most LOGIK-branded washing machines, users can select between 15 different wash programmes by manually rotating a dial.
Despite its affordable nature, the L914WM23 has all of the expected washing machine features built-in, with buttons for controlling wash time delay, spin speed, temperature and child lock settings before starting a wash cycle.
One wash programme of note is the anti-allergy programme.
A built-in steam function automatically sanitises the drum before the start of each wash, ensuring that the washing machine itself doesn’t collect pollen and other allergens over time. Hot steam effectively kills many germs, including odour-releasing bacteria.
Steam is a safe and natural cleanser, but using the programme too frequently could cause your energy bill to skyrocket. Heating cold water (which enters the washing machine) to boiling-hot steam uses tremendous amounts of electricity.
To be energy-conscious about your electricity usage, use longer and lower-temperature wash programmes.
8. Miele WED025 WCS 8kg
Retail Price: £899
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.470 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 51.7
Water Consumption: 47 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: 72 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 39 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Miele WED025WCS
Miele makes exceptionally good washing machines, but are they worth their price tag?
The up-front cost of their Miele products is often noticeably higher than their competitors. This 8kg capacity freestanding washer has a suggested retail price of £899 – that’s more than double the cost of other 8kg capacity washing machines on this list.
Miele was founded by businessman Reinhard Zinkann and engineer Carl Miele in 1899. Unlike most washing machine and white goods manufacturers, Zinkann’s and Miele’s families have run the business ever since.
They currently have over 22,000 employees globally, including over 400 staff in the UK.
Thanks to exceptionally high manufacturing standards, Miele washing machines offer excellent washing capabilities. These machines are built to last.
Instead of pushing buttons, the washing machine control panel contains fingertip touch sensors for users to press. The drum has a wavy, textured honeycomb shape.
According to Miele, this keeps a thin layer of water between the metal drum and clothing, preventing wear-and-tear on more delicate items of clothing.
At 72 dB spinning volume, the Miele WED025 WCS 8kg is among the quietest energy-efficient washing machines.
Additionally, users can use liquid detergents, powdered detergents or cap detergents, thanks to Miele’s support for CapDosing (intelligent dosing) detergent systems.
All Miele washing machines have a built-in water control system (WCS). This monitors water usage around the machine and rapidly detects water leaks, before users even notice them. Sensors are placed in the water intake pipe and the water drip tray.
Unlike many other brands, Miele washing machines can be stacked with other Miele appliances (including tumble dryers) or installed under counters (86cm height minimum).
Miele is so confident in their WCS that the company will personally bear the cost of property damage resulting from a leak in a Miele washing machine!
The Miele WED025 WCS 8kg has a minimum 24-month customer guarantee. If ordered directly from the Miele Great Britain website, delivery can be as soon as 1 to 3 working days.

Product Efficiency Statistics: Candy RO14104DWMCE
Candy is an Italian white goods manufacturer, based near Milan. The RapidO RO14104DWMCE is one of Candy’s latest smart washing machines.
It features a 10kg capacity drum, located slightly higher-up from the floor than typical washing machines. This makes for stress-free loading and unloading of washing. Many reviews mention how much easier this is on their back!
The RapidO features a striking digital control panel, located top-centre above the front-loading door instead of the more conventional top-left or top-right.
The Candy RapidO RO14104DWMCE Washing Machine has 16 wash programmes (including Eco 40-60) and can rotate the drum at speeds of up to 1,400 revolutions per minute.
Customers have no colour options to choose from, but Candy does produce a faster-speed, smaller-capacity version titled Candy RO1694DWMCE; this has a 9kg capacity but can rotate clothes up to 1,600 rpm.
As standard, RapidO washing machines come with a 10-year parts warranty and a 1-year labour warranty. A 5-year extended warranty is also available to customers who want to protect their washing machine for the long term.
10. SAMSUNG Series 5 Ecobubble WW90TA046AX/EU 9 kg 1400 Spin Washing Machine
Retail Price: £449
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.494 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 51.9
Water Consumption: 50 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: 72 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 48 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Samsung WW90TA046AX
Samsung is by far South Korea’s largest and most recognisable company. It’s been estimated that Samsung, and its many subsidiaries, directly contribute around 20% of South Korea’s GDP!
As well as electronic devices and small domestic goods, Samsung manufactures a wide range of white goods: fridges, freezers, tumble dryers and of course, washing machines.
The Series 5 Ecobubble was launched in 2021. Samsung then brought a newer version, aptly named the Series 5+, to consumers earlier this year.
Due to its recent launch, we’ve decided to only review the classic Samsung Series 5 Ecobubble – it costs less and has more user reviews online to help accurately compare washing machines.
The Samsung Series 5 Ecobubble comes in two colours: grey and white. It features a typical, see-through front loading door but a somewhat interesting-looking door frame – this is jet-black, contrasting with the machine’s dominant grey or white colour.
A darker door frame probably covers up fingermarks and hard water stains better as well!
Compared to the least efficient UK washing machine models, buying a Series 5 Ecobubble could save you up to £498 over a lifetime of use.
Customers can claim a bonus 3-year guarantee for free by registering their purchase online, on top of the standard 2-year period.
11. Haier Series 4 HWQ90B416FWB UK Integrated 9kg Washing Machine with 1600 rpm
Retail Price: £549
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.494 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 51.9
Water Consumption: 46 litres
Noise Emissions: 76 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 48 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Haier HWQ90B416FWB
If you have a medium-sized family, or do slightly more laundry than most households, consider Haier’s 9kg capacity Series 4 range of washing machines.
We’ve picked an integrated washing machine (HWQ90B416FWB) over Haier’s freestanding washing machines (HW100-B1439N), but don’t worry; the difference in performance and efficiency between the two is negligible!
The Series 4 contains the Haier AquaStop device. This is a water leakage detector located in the feed hose tube.
It will automatically choose the safest option if a leak is detected, alerting the consumer, closing valves and draining various tubes to prevent stress-inducing water leakage from beneath the washing machine.
Users have total control over washing intensity – every wash programme has three increasing wash intensity levels. This highly practical feature gives you the power to clean heavily soiled clothes first time by ramping the intensity to full. Or conversely, reduce the wash intensity to save water and electricity usage.
A Super 14 programme enables the washing of a 1.5kg load in just 14 minutes! For people with sensitive skin, the washing machine’s Extra Rinse programme ensures that all traces of laundry detergent are removed by the end of the cycle.
Programmes are selected using a radial dial while information is presented on a digital display, located in the top-centre of the machine’s front.
On average, customers give this Haier Series 4 washing machine 4.6 out of 5, an excellent score for a moderately-priced washing machine.
12. Midea MF20EW80WB Freestanding Washing Machine
Retail Price: £399
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.471 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 51.9
Water Consumption: 48 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: 76 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 3 hours 38 minutes
Product Efficiency Statistics: Midea MF20EW80WB
Midea-branded washing machines are a rare sight in the UK. However, Midea can be trusted to deliver high-quality washing machines as they’re frequently used by Whirlpool and General Electric to manufacture washing machine components.
The 8kg-capacity MF20EW80WB is the cheapest A-rated washing machine produced by Midea. 8.5kg, 9kg and 10kg versions are also available at higher prices.
If you’re in a rush, the Midea MF20EW80WB has 15-minute and 45-minute quick wash programmes. These use considerably more water and electricity but will dry up to 8 kg of laundry in a fraction of the (nearly 4-hour long) Eco 40-60 programme.
The MF20EW80WB won the 2022 German Innovation Special award. The Midea MF20 range features manual water adjustment settings.
Users can change the volume of water they want to use by clicking the “Water Level” and adjusting the large multi use dial in the centre of the machine.
13. Samsung Series 7 WW10T684DLH 10.5kg Washing Machine
Retail Price: £709
Energy Class: A
Energy Consumption: 0.523 kWh
Energy Efficiency Index: 52
Water Consumption: 53 litres per cycle
Noise Emissions: 72 dB
Eco Programme Duration: 4 hours
Product Efficiency Statistics: Samsung WW10T684DLH
The Samsung Series 7 Washing Machine (product code WW10T684DLH) has a massive 10.5kg drum. This size is ideal for larger families and small businesses.
Much like the Samsung Series 5, the Series 7 range features Ecobubble technology. It also has Auto Dosing capabilities, meaning it’ll decide how much water, laundry detergent and fabric softener to add for you.
WW10T684DLH washing machines regularly self-clean the detergent drawer (washing compartment) while in use. This prevents sticky residues from building up in the drawer over time.
Another nifty trick up the Series 7’s sleeve, is its smart connectivity options. Through the Samsung SmartThings app, users can start a wash cycle remotely over WiFi and view information on the machine’s health.
A digital inverter motor allows Series 7 washing machines to stay relatively quiet, even at high speeds. It emits 72 dB of noise when spinning at full capacity, which is surprisingly low given its massive, 10.5kg-sized drum!
What’s The Cheapest Energy Efficient Washing Machine?
There are two ways to measure the “cheapness” of washing machines, comparing either their up-front cost or their ongoing energy costs.
Here’s a rundown of the top 3 cheapest-to-buy (most affordable and budget-friendly) energy efficient washing machines.
Top 3 Budget-Friendly Energy Efficient Washing Machines

3rd Place | LG Direct Drive F2V308WSWH Washing Machine - £378 to £549 |
The LOGIK L914WM23 is not only one of the lowest-priced washing machines, but it could also save you up to £498 over its lifetime, according to independent comparison tool Youreko.
A-rated washing machines are considerably more thrifty with their energy usage than all washing machines produced before 2020, even those previously rated A+++!
Top 3 Washing Machines with the Lowest Energy Consumption
Ranking | Energy Consumption per Cycle (as of 2023) |
---|---|
1st Place | Bosch Series 4 8kg Washing Machines - 0.461 kWh |
2nd Place | Siemens iQ300 Washing Machines - 0.461 kWh |
3rd Place | Miele WCS WED025 - 0.470 kWh |
Two machines tied for first place. The Siemens iQ300 and Bosch Series 4 both used, on average, 0.461 kWh of electricity to wash a full-capacity (8kg) load, using the Eco 40 to 60 Wash Setting.
Which Washing Machine Uses The Least Water?
The washing machines in this guide have a drum capacity of between 8 and 12 kilograms. Bigger drums can fit more clothes but heavier loads increase the amount of energy used.
To make our comparison fairer, we’ve divided the water consumption per cycle by the drum capacity (which is measured in kilograms). This allows us to compare water use between washing machines of different capacities.
Washing Machine Brand and Model | Water Consumption per Cycle |
---|---|
Hoover HWB69AMC 9kg | 46 litres |
Haier Series 4 HWQ90B416FWB UK Integrated 9kg | 46 litres |
Bosch Series 4 WAN28250GB 8kg | 47 litres |
Siemens WM14NK08GB iQ300 8kg | 47 litres |
Miele WED025 WCS 8kg | 47 litres |

What’s The Fastest Energy-Efficient Washing Machine?
The two fastest A-rated washing machines on our list are the Bosch Series 4 and the Siemens iQ300. Both had a full-capacity eco programme duration of just 213 minutes (equivalent to 3 hours 33 minutes).
The slowest full-capacity washing machine mentioned here is the Samsung WW10T684DLH Series 7 Ecobubble™. This machine takes 240 minutes (4 hours) to wash a full load of washing.
However, this device does have a larger 10.5kg capacity so it’s not fair to call Samsung’s offering slow – more clothes take longer to wash!
